Bieber fever caused major fan frenzy — an dozens of injuries — in Norway Monday night at his free “secret” concert.
As Myspace reported, police declared a state of emergency after mass numbers of fans flocked to the site of the concert at Oslo’s Opera house. Mayor Fabian Stang said the crowds were so out of control that he actually had to hide behind a tree to avoid being trampled. .
The show almost did not go on. The Biebs’ manager Scooter Braun tweeted, “The streets are filled … the bridges are closed. It is out of control. We may have to start the show early or they will cancel. #bieberfever” .
Justin did take the stage early and performed six songs … but despite tweets reminding followers “Your safety comes first,” 49 Beliebers were injured and 14 were taken by ambulance for emergency care, according to TMZ. .

The chaos didn’t stop after the concert. As Justin left the show via police boat, his over-zealous fans were speeding right behind him as he was whisked away. .
